- Set up QA/QC Management system and oversee QA/QC activities for the Project
- Ensure Project meets set requirements and standards of local Authorities such as the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore)
- Prepare inspection & test plans / checklists for site activities
- Review inspection and testing reports
- Propose corrective actions and ensure the corrective actions are timely and effectively carried out to rectify non-conformances.
- Oversee delivery inspections of project materials
- Review, approve and maintain QA/QC related documentation
- Identify, develop and supervise a team of project QA/QC engineers and inspectors to ensure that Quality Assurance activities meet established targets and standards.
- Liaise with Clients and Sub-contractor on all QA/QC related activities, meetings and relevant issues.
- Plan & conduct QA/QC audit during the project for continuous improvement, and carry out necessary training for project team.
- Ensure compliance with the company's SOPs, Quality, HSE policies, and code of business ethics
- Other duties as assigned
- Recognized Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering
- At least 12 years relevant experience in QA/QC in construction industry and preferably have worked on public infrastructure projects in Singapore
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with ability to build, motivate, develop and manage team to achieve set goals and objectives
- Effective problem solving skills
- Committed and adaptable to changing work environment and business conditions
- Experience in EPC on government project will be an added advantages
