Job Description
Purpose and Scope
You will be a member of Utilities Commercial department within Energy Commercial business. Provide analytical support for steam and utilities business as well as techno-commercial oversight in relation to asset-specific matters.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1) Provide techno-commercially grounded recommendations and decision support for the company's asset running mode strategies to maximise profitability. These assets include steam generators, water purification units, service corridor infrastructure and waste water treatment plants.
2) Evaluate asset performance data to identify opportunities for mid to long term cost optimisation through:
a. Life extension programmes
b. Alternative fuel strategies and fuel deal structuring
3) Work closely with following key stakeholders:
a. key account managers to manage customers’ requirements
b. plant managers to ensure technical constraints are being addressed
c. finance to provide forecasts and simulations as required to support business case and budgeting
d. all of which, to ensure optimal commercial performance for the utilities business
4) Perform quantitative analysis to support business decisions and assess financial impacts when needed.
5) Review and forecast financial profit & loss on a monthly basis.
6) Review impact of capex spending and its life cycle impact.
7) Develop proper product costing and implement sound pricing strategies.
8) Support in new customers capture and contract extensions.
9) Project manage and be the key point of contact for implemented or to-be-implemented commercial initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
1) Experience in the Energy/Power & Utilities preferred but not mandatory
2) University degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in Engineering/Finance/Business/Economics or related field.
3) Experience working with digital teams to deploy new systems/ digital platforms /tools will be considered favourably.

3) Pre-requiste programming skills (Python, Excel VBA, PowerBI etc).
