Contract hire from Feb 2023 - Apr 2024 - Jurong Island

Requirement:

• Supervise, organize, and plan activities to ensure smooth fabrication/Installation of construction structures within the stipulated schedule
• Estimate manpower requirement for extra work/daywork including materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare project progress reports and plan for one week look ahead of activities to be completed
• Perform MTO and update progressively to ensure proper control of material procurement and usage
• Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timely
• Follow up on all fabrication and installation job fit up, welding and inspection
• Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work
• Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site
• To ensure site carry out according to daily site coordination.
• Control and minimize wastages.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
• Attend the daily toolbox meeting and convey instructions clearly
• To assist the Project Manager in the daily activities of work
• Must have Structural Steel Supervisor Certificate
• Able to work independently, proactive, and self-motivated

Responsibility:

• Min Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Independent, diligent, and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Able to work in team and cope in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel around project site within Singapore.
