    Job Description

    Job Responsibilities:

    • In partnership with the Business Unit director., develops and implements the overall strategy for business development and sales for the company
    • Lead the business development and sales efforts target and win business in line with the Company strategy, financial targets and business goals
    • Project lifecycle customer relationship responsibility – overall ownership and responsibility for all activities from overall account management, customer lead generation and nurturing, client satisfaction, through project close out and follow on customer relationship
    • Be the ‘expert’ point of contact and ‘trusted advisor’ for external organisation to explore business opportunities;
    • Develop, support and manage staff as needed to support the Business
    • Establishes gravitas by reflecting company’s vision, building consensus, and encouraging employee progression
    • In collaboration with the marketing departments ensures that the business development and sales procedures and collateral are regularly updated and our messaging and brand is aligned for proposals, presentations, professional conferences, and other related engagements
    • Closely liaise with and support group Marketing department in the initiatives being set and their execution
    • Represents the company at local industry functions and other key local networks
    • Ensure the company understands and is focused on market drivers and client needs. Leads efforts in researching on market dynamics, cost drivers, business models and client needs.
    • Proper forecasting and maintenance of sales data
    • Responsible for all proposals;
    • Drive / support key opportunities, through Proposal Win Strategies
    • Oversee proposals / prequals for quality of presentation, content, key messaging, win strategy
    • Support operations, engineering, commercial, estimating, risk, legal etc… departments in the formulation of proposals
    • Assume role of bid manager, where so required

    Other duties as assigned

    Min Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university by PEB.
