(a)            Duties and Responsibilities

(1)                 Provide both high level and detailed process engineering design for water/wastewater treatment plants;

(2)                 Design and update PID and Functional Design Specifications;

(3)                 Work  with  Mechanical engineers and  EICA engineers on equipment  sizing  calculation, material selection, Control Philosophy, layout drawing, site installation, etc.;

(4)                Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of equipment, systems and plant;

(5)                 Assist T&C Manager and Project Manager to meet schedule, budget, safety and overall project quality objectives;

(6)                 Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the other disciplines on the projects;

(7)                 Any other duties as and when assigned by the Senior Process Manager and Project Manager.

{b)            Qualification and other Requirements

(1)                Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering

(2)                 Above 8 years' experience in water/wastewater industry

(3)                Strong knowledge and practical experience in water and wastewater treatment processes including membrane process and biological process

(4)                Familiar with Singapore PUB's project requirements

(5)                Professional demeanour; ability to use appropriate levels of tact and courtesy

(6)                Strong time management skills; able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines

(7)                 Crisis management; work well under pressure, act quickly and decisively using sound judgment
