- Regular visits to customers to be informed of sales opportunities, to increase our sales to them and obtain a good margin by good customer service.
- Monitor all sales closely and be aware of the competitors’ actions.
- Work closely with Principals and keep them updated.
- Regularly find new customers through conversion and prospecting.
- Put in effort to promote new products that the department takes on from time to time.
- Maintain pressure on customers to pay up promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and carry out programs to draw down aging stocks.
- Provide important feedback on customers, major projects in the market, competitor products and prices.
- At least technical diploma/degree in Engineering or its equivalent.
- At least 2 years of industrial/engineering sales experience.
- Added advantage of 2 years of relevant experience in selling mechanical pumps.
- Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
