- The successful candidate will work with the relevant parties such as industrial designers and engineers to develop our ideas from concepts through to production.
- Perform in-depth market / technical product research to understand the target audience’s wants, needs, pain points, and possible buying objections and be involved in the review process with the team.
- Collaborate with suppliers in the development and production of our gaming furniture.
- Manage development schedules from prototyping, testing, reiterations, pre-production, etc.
- Drive new and/ or existing projects through the product development stages, liaising with internal and external stakeholders for matters including manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, etc.
- Troubleshoot new product issues and implement solutions.
- Work with key business leaders to develop innovative and functional product features for current and future iterations of the product.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design/ optimize customer experiences for gaming furniture.
- Be a key liaison across the organization for owned projects’ go-to-market and develop SOPs between relevant teams.
- Staying updated with product knowledge, market dynamic, and sales process relating to the product.
- Maintaining the documentation for all information and activities related to the product.
- Any other roles as assigned.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in product development.
- Demonstrated expertise liaising and collaborating with factories.
- Ability to collaborate with different team members across various functions and departments.
- Able to work independently, self motivated and sales driven.
- Excellent experience and understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Hands on attitude for prototyping and testing.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (for liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers).
- Availability to travel as necessary.
- Passion in gaming is a plus.
