In this role, you will provide technical, managerial, administrative, and managerial support to Project Managers and Project Executives. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Position Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of technical design disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and process automation on pharmaceutical industry projects.


• Interact with clients on assigned projects and promote positive relationships.


• Develop working knowledge of project scope and applies knowledge to project activities.


• Coordinate review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations, and communicates this information to the project team.


• Develop a working knowledge of the project budget, and identify exceptions to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.


• Develop a thorough understanding of contractually required quality in design and construction and support quality assurance for the project.


• Monitor design content and quality and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget.


• Work with Document Control to ensure that all project documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements.

You Will Assist the Project Manager With the Following Duties

• Develop and maintain design execution plans.


• Develop and maintain project schedules; including targeted and actual activities lists, durations, and sequencing logic, and communicate this information to the project team.


• Monitor and report project costs.


• Procure and coordinate all required project resources, including intradivisional, interdivisional, and extracorporate.


• Prepare subcontract, purchase order, and change control documentation and related financial documentation.


• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor invoices.


• Facilitate communication between project participants, and produce documentation of communication between project participants.


• Ensure compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.


• 10+ years of engineering experience.


• Sound technical knowledge in various project execution preferably in Life science projects.


• Efficient in Microsoft Project & understanding of Primavera for project schedule management, and interactive planning with all discipline leads & clients.


• Interface management with various disciplines H.O.D. / Lead /Designers, Vendors, subcontractors, and client team requirements.


• Profound knowledge of various engineering deliverables for each discipline, their schedule of delivery & progress which need to be reported to clients on a regular basis.


• Understanding of project risks due to delays in engineering deliverables, Client approvals, Vendor/ subcontractor information, delays, etc., and also subsequent cost.


• Experience in producing regular Risk & Mitigation plans for Client’s approval.


• Knowledge of various local government regulations, Submission of documents for various Permitting authorities like JTC, BCA, EEOA, QRA, PCS, Design for Safety, EIA, etc.


• Previous experience working with a diverse team, understanding cultural differences, and capitalizing on each individual’s strengths
