• Develop concept design with only a simple site master plan with limited utilities consumption matrix
• Take the conceptual design through to Basic & Detail Design Stages
• Prepare necessary system design, sizing and life-cycle-cost calculations
• Conduct simple system efficiency analysis and develop options for further discussions
• Lead the Cleanroom & associated Mechanical Systems design coordination among other disciplines
• Conduct / Lead design related discussions with Client, Consultants and other stake holders
• Conduct / Lead system specification and client requirement compliance discussions
• Conduct / Lead system acceptance criteria discussions
• Progressing all elements of design, in-line with the Design Checklist
• Prepare the basis of design write-up for submission and discussions
• Prepare design presentations for presenting to Client
• Conduct / Lead design reviews with project / design managers, other disciplines, and Client
• Estimate cost for the proposed systems by liaising with the inhouse cost estimation team
• Liaise with various System / Equipment vendors for early selections and to develop options
• Production of tender specifications and ensuring these align with contractual obligations
• Mentoring of Cleanroom CAD Designers to secure trained personnel for the continual expansion of the company

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 8 - 10 years relevant experience in detail design of Cleanroom & associated Mechanical Systems / Building Services
