A Project Director (PD) will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. They must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management skills.
Previous WAFER FAB & Data centre experience is a MUST

· Co-ordinates all project activities.

· Ensures that corporate policies, processes and procedures and adhered to.

· Proactively resolves performance, scope, schedule and cost issues with the customer.

· Ensures that the right systems are in place so that the staff are competent, committed and fully utilised.

· Ensures all statutory requirements are met.


· Actual costs never exceed budget (adjustment for variations).

Plan and control bids & studies


· Co-ordinates bids and feasibility study activities.

· Actively maintains and builds customer relationships.

· Liaises regularly with the customer and Joint Venture partner to ensure all parties are kept up-to-date throughout all stages of the project.Ensures accuracy of and timely issue of invoices.

Earned Margin


· Manages all cost and schedule aspects of the project and ensure prompt identification and resolution of change orders for cost and schedule with the client.

· Liaises with commercial teams to ensure competitive bids are received that match technical and commercial requirements

· Deals with development of contract terms and conditions

· Ensure 100% integrity and transparency is maintained at all time

· Provide visible HSE leadership.

· Allocate sufficient resources for HSE.

· Ensure HSE training needs and skills for Project Team are identified.

· Conduct formal/informal site visits, inspections and risk assessments.

· Regularly monitor and review HSE issues and performance of project and implement corrective action.

· Report and communicate on project HSE issues/incidents.

· Assure accountability of project line managers and supervisors.

· Ensure the Project Team are provided with and have a clear understanding of the associated Standard Operating Procedures

· Ensure that an integrated team culture exists and that the project team / taskforce personnel fully understand the scope and execution strategy


·  QMS review.


Risk Management


· As owner of the Project Risk Register, conduct monthly reviews with the project team

· Monitor and Document risk and opportunities, communicating actions and results to others.
