• Develop Design and Engineering Deliverables and supporting narratives for Bio-Pharma Process and Clean/Black Utility Systems.
• Develop Design deliverables for Concept, Basic and Detailed Design – URS, PFD/PIDs, Process Calculations, FA/FAC/PSV Sizing, Line List, Equipment List, and Equipment Specifications. Data Sheets, Instrument Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, TQ/TBA, etc.
• Assists with the preparation of engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.
• Generates Specifications and Data Sheets for Process/Mechanical equipment and provide input to instrument data sheets as well as supporting narratives.
• Adheres to Process/Mechanical and manufacturing design scopes of work for each project and alerts appropriate staff about changes or requests for additional services.
• Prepare Equipment Requisitions/Packages for bid.
• Carryout techno-Commercial Bid Analysis
• Review vendor submittals and documents
• Sees that satisfactory relationships are maintained with clients, consultants and other vested interests.
• Provides site support on projects designed or constructed by IPS.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of process engineering/design experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Bio-Pharma industry.
• Should be independently able to develop Design deliverables for Concept, Basic and Detailed Design – URS, PFD/PIDs, Process Calculations, FA/FAC/PSV Sizing, Line List, Equipment List, and Equipment Specifications. Data Sheets, Instrument Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, TQ/TBA, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience generating PFDs, P&IDs, process equipment and instrument data sheets as well as supporting narratives.
• General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering.
• Has a demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to manage projects, problem solve and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Nutraceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
• AutoCAD experience.
