6D; 8am-6pm (may have night shift work a few times a month, depending on site casting schedule)

 
Responsibilities
    • Ensuring all sub-contractors comply fully with the relevant recommendations of LTA M&W requirements
    • Preparing and submitting the Weekly & Monthly Quality reports.
    • Follow up with conformity certificate, calibration certificate and plant calibration certificate from other agency.
    • Maintaining the RIN Register and follow up with QPS for closing.
    • Review daily inspection report and issuance of observation or NCR (Non Conformity Report) according to concerned department.
    • To arrange QPS for inspection including the reinforcement cages, sitting out, guide wall, slurry quality (powder moisture, slurry density, viscosity & gel strength), final depth pf trench,trench profile check (koden alignment check), stop end, inserts, concrete slump, temperature, casting duration, cut-off level, ground level, backfilling (LSS) and lean concrete.
    • To be physically present during Asphalt pavement work for Road diversion work.
    • Study Shop drawing and liaise with design department on the design issue that may cause difficulty in production.
    • To conduct mould inspection for every new mould and mould in use.
    • Materials ordering
    • To arrange production based on Daily Production Planning from planning department.
    • Responsible for achieving the daily planned volume/productivity.
    • To prep our inspection together with production supervisor and RTO
    • To prepare materials approval request prior to use and its related testing.

Requirements

    • Degree in any Engineering Discipline
    • Minimum 5 years experience as QAQC Engineer in civil construction, and at least 1 year LTA MRT experience.
    • Experience in structural steel works or precast RC works
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
    • Open to 6D work week with long working hours to meet tight project deadline.
