Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior M&E Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of major building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design review, coordination, execution, and quality assurance of all M&E systems throughout the construction life cycle.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E services for building projects (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional).

Review and approve M&E drawings, technical submissions, material proposals, and method statements.

Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely design integration and compliance with project specifications and statutory requirements.

Supervise and manage site installation works, testing & commissioning, and M&E handover documentation.

Resolve technical and site issues related to M&E systems.

Manage procurement schedules and monitor cost control for M&E scopes.

Ensure compliance with local codes and authority regulations (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB).

Lead M&E coordination meetings and provide technical guidance to internal and external teams.

Mentor junior engineers and support the development of engineering best practices.
Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

Minimum 10–15 years of experience in M&E management, preferably with A1 main contractors or large-scale developers.

Proven track record in delivering M&E systems in high-rise buildings, hospitals, commercial complexes, or industrial facilities.

Strong knowledge of local authority submission procedures and technical codes (CP83, SS530, SS553, etc.).

Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, and relevant M&E design software.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with green building certification processes (e.g., Green Mark, LEED) is an advantage.
