Requirements:
Contract Term at least 2 yrs
5.5Days work: 7.30am-6pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
- Implements, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
- Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations
- Conducts regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions
- Conduct safety awareness training/programmers/initiatives
- Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection
- Other Ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Possess relevant Certificates (e.g. Advanced Certificate in WSH)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in tunneling from construction industry
- Familiar with the statutory requirements related to WSH Act and other aspect of safety
- Tunneling experience (preferably with MRT projects) would be highly advantageous
- Able to work 6 days and weekend and public holidays if needs arise.
