Responsibilities:

Tender & contract review
Address contractual issues with the Authority as and when necessary
Chair Contract Meeting with the Authority & address contractual claims and disputes
Attend meetings and contribute to the resolution of commercial and contractual problems
Identify and serve notices (Variation, Additional Payment and Delays) to the Engineer/ED/ER and follow up with necessary cost and time claim; including drafting letters on contract matters/issues
Interpret the respective obligations, responsibilities and liabilities of the parties to the Contract/the Subcontract/Agreement, and provides guidance to the team, as appropriate, and when called up
Prepare and reviews outgoing letters to LTA, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
To update to Planning Manager of all contractual matters
Preparation of VO submissions & final accounts
Monitor and ensure timely submission of variations claim and receive of valuation certificate
Monitor and report status of contracts
Review Contract Document, Manage and ensure contractual compliance and conformance.
Communicate effectively with every member of the team
Analyses all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
Establish and maintain the project variation control system and managing negotiations in line with contract requirements.
