Need Project Engineer to support the execution of a major Jetty / Marine infrastructure project in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising subcontractors, managing technical submissions, and ensuring works are carried out safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong marine, coastal, or heavy civil engineering experience who thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of jetty and marine construction works.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities including piling, quay wall, marine structures, heavy lifting, precast installation, and associated civil works.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on technical and site matters.
• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, equipment usage, and productivity on site.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, RFIs, method statements, inspection requests, and work procedures.
• Liaise with QAQC and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Attend site meetings, toolbox briefings, and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving site technical issues and construction challenges.
• Maintain proper documentation, site records, reports, and progress updates.
• Support project planning and scheduling activities to ensure timely completion of works.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marine, jetty, port, coastal, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience in marine piling, jetty structures, quay walls, caissons, reclamation, or coastal works will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices, safety regulations, and authority requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Able to work in a site-based environment and manage fast-paced project activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation processes.
• Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, or planning tools will be advantageous.
