Requirements:
Main Duties:
Develop Air Flow Instrumentation Diagram, area classification & room pressurization and Air handling segregation zoning based on process flow diagram, containment philosophy (both biosafety and occupational exposure band), GMP cleanroom air cascade, hazard classification, emergency spill and fire water management while adhering to the client and Singapore regulatory standards and requirements.
Support construction team during air balancing, commissioning, respond to site queries and review construction shop drawing.
Collaborate closely with client and project team members from various discipline to formulate a design that meet project requirements.
Here's what you'll need
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in leading the design of ACMV, plumbing, sanitary system and fire protection for Pharmaceutical facilities in Singapore.
Familiarity with design, selection and procurement of Cooling Tower, Chiller, dehumidifier, air handling units, extract and pressurization fans, Cold Room cooling systems, Laminar flow, fume hood and other types of airflow safety and containment system.
Deep understanding of Singapore Greenmark sustainability requirements in the applicability of designing the sustainable, low carbon and energy efficient system.
Ability to collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and piping engineers to ensure building services align seamlessly with bioprocess workflows and equipment needs.
Familiarity with the Singapore Fire Code and Singapore Authority requirements on plumbing and sanitary requirements, and the ability to implement these requirements in the design.
