Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project quality & safety plan, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as contractors
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce short term works plans
• Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively, and quality records are properly maintained
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Ensure material submission & approval, ordering and delivery are according to agreed schedules
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Singapore PE Board
• Act as PE assignee for standing supervision of works
• At least 5 year’s experience in building and construction projects
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
