This role is with a large multinational consultancy company. This is for the extension of a water plant in Eastern part of Singapore. 
The job details:

- This is an onsite position and therefore you will have to be on project location. 
- To coordinate and work with all contractors to monitor, support and guide implementation of all mechanical works in the project. This includes procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical works. 
- To be able to guide junior engineers working in the project. 
- To ensure consistency across all contracts and that the works are done according to the specifications and relevant codes and regulations. 
- To work closely with other engineers across other disciplines - i.e Electrical, ICA teams. 
- To effectively communicate and coordinate with all internal and external parties. 

The incumbent should have the following:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a PEB-recognised university as he/she needs to be registered with IES. 
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure projects in Singapore. Added advantage with experience in PUB projects. 
- Understanding of mechanical design and experience in the design and implementation of mechanical works including site testing and commissioning of mechanical systems. 
- Experience in generating/reviewing Design Calculations related to Mechanical Equipment and Accessories. 
- Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling.
