Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate all engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams on large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the technical execution aligns with project goals related to cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering teams across Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Structural disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

Define and implement engineering execution strategies and project engineering plans in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables and integration with procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.

Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and high-value engineering centers (HVECs).

Chair and participate in key technical reviews (HAZOP, SIL, 3D Model Reviews, Constructability, etc.).

Approve critical design documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, IEC, ISO).

Monitor progress against engineering schedules and budgets; identify and manage deviations or scope changes.

Support procurement and construction with technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and resolution of field engineering issues.

Promote a culture of safety and engineering excellence, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline); Master’s degree is an advantage.

Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in EPC projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership or Engineering Manager capacity.

Strong technical background with a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and engineering interfaces.

Extensive knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and best practices applicable to the Oil & Gas or Process sectors.

Experience working with international clients and joint ventures is a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Willingness to travel or be based on-site as required by project demands.
