Job Purpose
The Senior M&E Manager oversees all monitoring and evaluation activities within the organization, ensuring effective data collection, analysis, and reporting to track program progress and impact.
Key Responsibilities

Design and Implement M&E Systems: Develop and manage frameworks, tools, and processes to monitor and evaluate project activities and outcomes.

Data Collection and Analysis: Supervise the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to inform program decisions.

Reporting: Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for donors, management, and other stakeholders.

Capacity Building: Train and mentor staff in M&E concepts and practices.

Learning and Improvement: Lead program reviews and evaluations; support learning and adaptive management.

Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity through regular reviews and audits.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with partners, donors, and stakeholders regarding M&E matters.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
At least 5-7 years’ experience in M&E, with increasing levels of responsibility. -
Strong knowledge of M&E methods, data collection, and analysis tools.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Experience working with donors and managing donor reporting requirements.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
