Key Responsibilities
1. Tender Management
-
Review, analyze, and evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications.

Identify scope of work, risks, and opportunities for electrical subcontracting.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and technical submissions.

Coordinate clarifications with main contractors, consultants, and clients.
-
Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines.
2. Coordination & Teamwork

Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.

Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotations and technical data.

Collaborate with finance for pricing strategies, payment terms, and risk assessments.
3. Negotiation & Finalization
-
Support commercial negotiations with contractors/clients.
-
Ensure the company’s interests are protected in contracts and agreements.

Provide handover to the project execution team upon award of contracts.
4. Market & Strategy
-
Track upcoming tenders and business opportunities in the market.
-
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers).
-
Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to improve bid strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in tendering/estimating within electrical contracting or subcontracting.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.

Proficiency in tendering software, MS Office, and cost estimation tools.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
