Job Description
1. Digital Delivery Leadership
-
Define the company's BIM strategy, roadmap, and long-term digital transformation goals.

Oversee BIM implementation across all Singapore-based projects, ensuring alignment with global company's standards.
-
Lead the adoption of VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) tools that allow simulations such as 4D scheduling (time-based modelling) and 5D modelling (cost-linked modelling).
2. Standards, Governance & Quality Assurance
-
Develop, govern, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), modelling standards, templates, and digital workflows.

Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, the global standard for managing digital information throughout the lifecycle of a built asset.

Implement quality-control frameworks including model audits, clash detection protocols, and data integrity checks.
3. Project Support & Coordination Oversight
-
Provide high-level support to project directors, engineering leads, and construction teams regarding BIM strategy and model-based coordination.

Resolve cross-discipline modelling issues and support integrated digital planning activities.
-
Guide the implementation of cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or equivalent systems.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Development
-
Lead and develop the BIM team—including BIM Managers, BIM Coordinators, and Digital Specialists.

Establish training programs to upskill teams in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC), automation tools (Dynamo, Python), and advanced workflows.

Build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and digital literacy across the organization.
5. Technology & Innovation

Evaluate and implement emerging digital technologies such as:

automation scripts

generative design
-
model-based estimation
-
digital twins (a digital replica of a building used for operations and maintenance)

Collaborate with global IPS teams on uniform digital engineering practices and enterprise-level technology integration.

Drive efficiency improvements using data analytics and automation.
6. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
-
Serve as the senior technical representative for BIM during client meetings, tender presentations, and stakeholder coordination sessions.

Lead BIM-related discussions, manage expectations, and ensure clarity on deliverables and digital milestones.
-
Support business development by contributing to proposals, strategies, and value-added digital offerings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
-
Master’s degree is an advantage.
-
Professional BIM certifications (Autodesk, buildingSMART, VDC certifications) preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 10+ years of experience in BIM/VDC-related roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
-
Strong portfolio of leading multidisciplinary BIM teams within complex industrial or high-tech facility projects (pharma, biotech, data centers, manufacturing).
Technical Expertise

Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and model-based delivery processes.

Experience with 4D/5D BIM workflows, automation tools (Dynamo, Python), and integration with project controls systems.
