Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and evaluate quotations for construction materials, subcontract works, and service packages
• Administer subcontract and supplier engagements, including preparation of agreements, certifications, and payment processes
• Conduct cost comparisons and compile detailed cost analysis reports to support procurement decisions
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project cost planning across various stages
• Monitor project expenditure, track budgets, and manage cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Handle contractual matters including variation orders, claims submissions, and final account negotiations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, records, and correspondences
• Oversee contract administration functions and ensure compliance with contractual terms
• Address contractual issues such as extension of time (EOT), loss and expense claims, and contract conditions interpretation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Building Services
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects
• Strong analytical and organisational capabilities with attention to detail
• Ability to manage variation claims involving detailed material breakdowns and costing
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment
